Egyptian Musk

We are all equi
libria thriving through a
channel charged by
opposite polarities
seawaves both having bro
ken and receding in
to ripples pasts
which could never
not have happened
however the event
the pulse of the uni
verse’s expansion a
nother hour yet
where we
ve come ex
pecting nothing but
arrival. Stop.
Nuptial bells ech
cho back
ward and clang with the
dirges for the living
death of youth
finger bones reach
throughpast millenia
ash to crumble
like [...]

Autobio (Chapter New York Everywhere)

In my East
Village grotto
I up
turned any two
I hap
penned to anticipate:
three except a spade.
And rolled dice a
round the drain
the same
number six this
time of six-sided dice.
A message was [Pro]
being communicated;
my mistake was to inter
pret it as directing my
going out the gate to East
Village Books ban
ging on the window closed
avid to purchase Nostradamus
in the original French:
the falcon and [...]

Black Rock City

Souls decked
in neon green
orange pine cones
pasties and shades
float drifts para
ding in tracks
ruts of the mythical rains
to which they dance
their bodies blast kazoos
put percussive pats upon the playa
of hands drudging boots
and bicycle tires.
Bronze skins burn
in light are slathered in shade
at rest from bony contention
collecting force together
chipping in their parts
to build dream
houses husbands wives
missions paths
affirmations they are [...]

Creator of Conditions

Implicit agent
in the undoing
of the family
to create
the conditions for
implosion and
every error in the book
of Arthur Leo Coleman
the Fourth
the man behind the curtain
’s brain neur
ology of the psyche
effector of all karma
died on by heroes
seeking in every
furtive glance
beauteous Nar
cissus’s cold re
flection in ice
to hold
forever still
alone with me.

To Vigor

Vigor vulgarized.
Each chime snuffed.
Metal metastasized.
Who hoos?
The avuncular owl
in forests of love trysts.

Amendment

A son of the sun
has no concern for voices’ words
except for their proximity.
To the shadow in the quiet canyon
every brush rustle and fly buzz is
another transitory companion
An emulation of Christ Who
steadfastly would not enter
the gates of heaven immediately
the right hand of God
at the end when He gazed
up where heaven ought to be
and after ruminating in [...]

A Flaw of Mine

I push
and when I can
push no more
I succumb
to fear
the mes out
there are coming
though there
impels nothing
as far ahead as
I have pushed
and am
lost in a well
known way.

The Limitations

The ocean we step off of
the shore into
but do not drift too far from
where feet can feel
the silt and alluvial mudflow
and the curtain drop behind
now that the fronted one is
verifiably still
too cumbrous at the bottom
to move without out
side force
A wry smile curves
the endpoints rise
as satin is discovered
to be mirrored criss
cross games of catch
with the space [...]

The Pacifying Effect of Cummings

Read 2
completely
and close
the book
to contemplate
it and sigh just
as wind picks
up and
drops
leaves
above.
Over-
whelmed since waking
by hundreds of miles’
displacement and the
choices they brought,
it synchronizes my where-
abouts
into a
sunny reflection in
the shady glass wall
the lines that
crinkle
my fretful face.
